"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food" - Hippocrates

When we are young, till we are capable of doing things like eating and walking on our own, all the nutrition we get is from our mothers. We never had to worry about our health because our parents were doing that. But as we grow up, we tend to have different cravings. We moved on from Complan to milkshakes, biscuits to burgers and from fresh juice to Mojitos. I'm not gonna lie, the latter is pretty delicious. But all good things come with a price.

School students are prone to be the target audience for most of the advertisements made by fast food joints. That is why the ratio of unhealthy people in schools is much more than that in offices. Since students spend a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week in their school, it is crucial to provide them sufficiently healthy food. We have all been there and we know how tiresome school is. You wake up really early to go to school and you try so hard to pay attention in class. You get that boost of energy when you meet your friend from the next class. You have PT today? YAY. But wait, you have  to run 3 laps and then exercise for warm up. You have to learn a little more and quickly note down what your teacher is dictating. By the time you're done with your usual routine, you have to get back home and start on your homework (but who does that before 7 pm?). Between all this work, students need that extra 'oomph' to give them more energy. That is why schools must have a platform for healthy food.

Eating junk food doesn't just cause heart problems and obesity. It can cause indigestion, fatigue, diabetes, fatty liver and MUCH more. Also, eating a lot of fried food would result in the formation of acne and pimples on your skin. We all know that's the last thing teenagers want. Hey!foodie is one such platform that serves healthy and delicious food in schools. We cannot completely stop the consumption of junk food (obviously) but we can reduce it to such an extent that we know it won't affect our health. After all, health is our one true wealth.
