The Healthy Chat Show With Mrs. Golien Farishta

 Mrs. Golien Farishta started her pre-school known as learning junction in Raipur as she felt there are many wings of development that need to be catered to and has been successfully running the school for a year now. Learning junction is an ECG school with children aging from 0 to 6 years. She is a certified master trainer in early child education and is an instructional mentor at learning junction. She has also been looking after the administration of Purnima English School for over 8 years now, which is owned by her family.

 According to Mrs. Golien Farishta healthy life means the perfect harmony between the mind and the body. It’s not only about physical well-being, but also emotional and mental well-being of the human. Mood and food rhyme together. A healthy body without a health mind is not possible. Food plays a major role in our body. She further explained giving an example for a bank account. Just like we do health invest in our bank account to get better returns, we should nourish our body with healthy eating, so that we take better benefits in terms of health.

Mrs. Golien Farishta have fought corona. She had been tested positive to corona, other than her three other members of her family were also tested positive. She feels that it’s really important to have positive attitude towards such situation because it creates lots of anxiety within us. She further gave some tips to build immunity. She stated that for better immunity we need to take in lot vitamin C. Vitamin C rich food that is there in orange, sweet lime etc. One should intake lots of fresh fruits and also vitamin C supplements. Along with vitamin C, a saline water gargle is also effective and deep breathing exercise. She then suggested that yoga, exercise, lot of fresh fruits, whole grains and food rich in antioxidant, vitamins, minerals and fibres will help improve our immune system.

She then explained about depression. According to her depression can become a chronic disease if we don’t find right people around us. It is very important to have good friends and parents who understand. She then explained how each child is different from each other and suggested parents not to compare or expect too much from their children.

She recalled her childhood memories and explained about her friends and lunch time, how she used to wait eagerly for the lunch break and how she enjoyed her meal with her friends, which was similar to a potluck.

She also mentioned about a Sunday fest that her mother used to make for her on every Sunday. It was cake, which her mother used to bake in pressure cooker, with the topping of Cadbury gems and she can still taste that love in the cake.

As the message for everyone she shared few thoughts and mentioned the importance of time and healthy body. She then quoted that a healthy body and a healthy mind would definitely lead to healthy soul.
