WHAT TO OFFER YOUR CHILD, WHEN THEY DONOT WANT TO HAVE MILK??

Every child needs calcium for bone growth especially when kids are growing fastest, between ages 5 and 12. Milk provides energy plus many essential nutrients including protein, calcium and vitamin D. These nutrients are needed  to grow healthy bones and teeth. Children can get protein from other foods but if your child does not drink milk, they may not be getting enough calcium and vitamin D. There are other sources for calcium like yogurt, cheese, fish, green vegetables but they are an indirect source of and milk is the direct source. Children don’t find the taste and the odor of milk because of many absorbent bacteria and chemical in it and it has a rancid flavor in it that’s why it has a soapy bitter taste.

Milk can be flavored in many ways to make it taste better. Many health drinks in the market provide health and taste in many flavors at the same time like Horlicks, Bournvita, Complan and many more. But rather than that it can be flavored in many ways by making milkshake by adding fruits like banana, strawberry or chocolate, vanilla, butterscotch, caramel, rose, cinnamon, dry fruits and nuts which enhances taste, flavor and look as well. There is no alternate or substitute for milk but at the same time we can do many things or add on many things in the milk to enhance the taste and flavor. Adding the flavor will attract kids and will increase the demand for milk.
