Jai Jawan Jai Kisan
As rightly said by
our late Prime Minister, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastriji.
India is an agricultural
country, when we read the word agriculture…..the first picture that comes in
front of our eyes is that of our farmers, the heroes of our soil.
Whatever we food we
get to eat today, is because of their day and night hard work. Toiling
in any weather does not distract them from their work, and we are the ones to
enjoy the fruits of their efforts so easily.
Since the dawn of
civilization, farmers have been feeding us without any expectations; we owe our
survival to them. And this is the reason, we shouldn’t waste our food, have you
ever thought about the laborious work they do for us? It is a herculean task to
grow a single crop, but for them, it is their life… we value society and people
around us in the materialistic way of financial status and gold possessions, but
farmers grow real gold with their hands and never do they show off, rather they
are always humble and bear the brunt of nature and people.
On this farmer’s day i.e.,
23rd December let us all come together to join hands and give our
efforts somewhere in improving their social life. As we all know the status of a farmer today. We can do our titbit like not wasting or throwing away of food,
serve it to the needy ones and in doing so we are valuing their priceless efforts.
And
taking small steps in this direction, we can rightly say “ hamara bhi ek haath
kisan ke saath”
