Modifying Junk Food






              In today's fast paced world, everything revolves around food you can eat on the go. We prefer fried chicken over chicken gravy and sandwiches over parathas. This happened due to westernization of the country over the last few decades, through no fault of our own. As we have gotten used to these kinds of food, our preference and our idea of  "good food" has become different. Even though the kind of food we consume these days is delicious, it is unhealthy nonetheless. But it does not have to be that way. 

             There are various ways in which we can transform certain fast food into healthy alternatives. For example, instead of having fried chicken, we can have grilled chicken. Grilled food is WAY better than fried food as it is healthier and also super tasty! An added advantage is that it makes the whole meal extra fancy. 

             We can also substitute vegetables in the place of meat. One can use cauliflower or soya chunks instead of chicken and even potatoes. Veggie burgers are very famous these days too. Paneer and vegan substitutes have proven to be not only fancy but also delicious. Studies show that most people between the ages of 20 and 30 have adapted a vegan dietary plan to lead a healthy lifestyle. IF we try to add a little bit of these habits to our usual routine, even we will be healthy and energetic in no time!
