Age Wise Division of Food

People eat different kinds of food depending upon their age, abilities and requirements. New born babies tend to have only breast milk. Infants start have something a little more solid like porridge. And as they grow older, they are given bread, chapati, and even chicken. The amount of food consumed by them also increases. This is because of the increase in their requirements. As babies, they didn't have much to do other than learn how to walk and talk. As they grow older, their part in the society increases and they need sufficient energy to cope up with the fast paced world. Hence, dividing and distributing food according to the students' age is wise.

There are three sections for dividing school students based on their dietary needs. They are pre-primary section (till class 1), primary section (from class 1 to class 5) and secondary section (class 6 and above). The pre-primary section requires a lot of fruits and vegetables, with diary food as well. The primary section requires high protein intake and hence chicken would be recommended. Like the other sections, primary also requires fruits and vegetables. Secondary section requires fruits, vegetables, diary, grain and protein. The difference between secondary and primary is the quantity. As the age of the student increases, the quantity of food needed by him also increases due the change in the energy requirements. Hence, it is a must to abide by a particular food plan and provide students with the utmost beneficial diet.
