Consequential Shortcuts
Sometimes, life seems easier with shortcuts. Shortcuts while travelling, shortcuts while working and much more. After all, smart work IS better than hard work, right? Maybe or maybe not. Once people acquire the knowledge about the presence of a shortcut, it becomes harder to ignore that fact. The harder it becomes to ignore the shortcut, the easier it is to succumb to your pressure and take it. True, sometimes it is better to take those shortcuts and reach your goal faster. But you need to have full and proper knowledge about these shortcuts. If you don't, they might just lead you to terrible situations. One such shortcut, as we will see in this blog, is the usage of supplements.
Supplements can be used for various purposes such as weight loss, energy, sleep, laxative, immunity, body building or even pain relief. It is especially common among the youth due to their ever growing need to grow their muscles or "get ripped" as they call it. It is also common among people of old age since they take a lot of supplements to help them with their daily activities. Studies have shown that sometimes, these supplements might prove to be more harmful than they are useful. Researchers have collected the details of the people who visited the emergency departments of particular hospitals and have discovered that a lot of these cases were due to the effects of supplements. Around 10% of these patients had to be admitted in the hospital and most of them were over the age of 65. It is better to keep in mind that whatever we're aiming for works better if we attain it through fair means. Do you want to improve your speed? Practice. Do you want to increase your strength? Exercise. Nothing in this world comes easily. At least, not without a price.
