Food review of Kwality restaurant, Jamshedpur

Good place for family dinner.

 I was really getting frustrated with so called “Chinese food” available in so many roadside restaurants. After all we, middle class people, look for good taste at a reasonable price. So, while it is difficult on one hand to spend a large amount of money for fine dining at 3-star/4- star hotels, it is also difficult to accept on the other hand the taste of food in just any restaurant. I must say that Kwality Restaurant is bridging this gap quite successfully. It is slightly expensive than most restaurants that serve food with pretty ordinary taste, but much more affordable compared to 3-start/4-star hotels of the city, yet you get very good food.

After a long time I enjoyed Chinese food with very good taste. As far as Indian food is concerned, usually it is quite spicy, and therefore, the usage of various spices makes it slightly easy to create good taste, and therefore, you can get typical Indian dishes like chicken masala, matar paneer, naan, etc. with acceptable quality and taste in many restaurants. But most of the Chinese dishes are made without much usage of spices, and therefore creating some good taste really takes lot of skill. From that point of view, Kwality scores quite high. I am really satisfied with food. The gravy chicken noodles dish had lot of fillings of vegetable and chicken pieces, and the sweet and sour chicken was also very good (perhaps best within Jamshedpur). At a prominent location, this restaurant has a very good ambiance. The service was also quite prompt, at least I did not have to wait for a long time. Calls for another visit very soon. I strongly recommend.

Standard and reasonable restaurant.

 Kwality is a very old restaurant chain (60 years old I think) but the ownership has since been divided between the children of original promoters. It is very good for Punjabi food ( north Indian style) and is reasonably priced. They have maintained quality and service levels and remind of the old past.

Tasty food but very poor service.

 We enjoyed the food here. very tasty. But the problem is with service. It took almost 30 min or more to bring the ordered items to table.

But it is worth to taste the food once. If they can improve little better in service then that can be a good place to visit frequently.

Food is Good,Centrally Located and ambience is just average .

If i would be rating the food of Kwality restaurant i will give it a 7/10 rating and the ambience is nothing better than 6/10. My favorite dishes out here are the Chana Masala and Matar Paneer. The Taste of these dishes have been the same over the past 15 years. The service is good and there is a bar available at this place. The Restaurant is located at the main shopping areas in Jamshedpur and finding a parking might be a bit of a challenge. Overall i would recommend it for a once a month visit. 

Overall its a good place to visit. Must try and give your views on it .
